ROBERT KING graduated from the Univ. of Iowa and taught most of his career in the University of North Dakota's English Department and Center for Teaching and Learning. An Emeritus from North Dakota, he currently lectures at the Univ. of Northern Colorado. The author of four chapbooks (Standing Around Outside, Bloodroot Press, 1979; A Circle of Land, Dacotah Territory Press, 1990; Learning American, Frank Cat Press,1998; and Naming Names, Palanquin Press, 2001), he has published poetry in a variety of magazines, recently including Poetry, Atlanta Review, Sundog, The Malahat Review, The Dalousie Review, The Massachusetts Review, Ascent, Lullwater, South Dakota Review, North Dakota Quarterly, Weber Studies, and Red Rock Review.
